When they make record selling album they make a little from the actual sales of albums, Most of their revenue comes from Live Concerts because everybody buys their album first. The CD comes out so the record company can make the money to sell more propoganda to boost fan rates for the band. There may be scumbag record companies but they are usually called out by the artist otherwise why would they stay with that label?

@happylittlemee Oh yes the pennies they make when someone buys the album, it all goes to the scumbag record companies. THe only money artists make are from shows really.
