Can I be your puppy, too?

Zelda, the 4 month old bulldog, wants to be a puppy, too. Sadie gives her the stare-down, complete with growls. Sadie has 8 puppies that were born on 12-29-05. Zelda does not give up.

I had a golden retriever that had a litter, and she allowed other dogs to sleep with her puppies. In fact, one of our dogs was the nanny to the puppies. Whenever the mother would leave her newborns, the other dog would climb into the whelping box and keep them warm. But that's golden retrievers.

Sadie is generally pretty nice, but she was a little annoyed with Zelda, just being a few months old. We also have Longhorn cattle, and sometimes they will nurse each others' calves.

She was a terrific mom. Now she is just the sweetest dog, just like her mom. Bulldogs are the best!

All so gorgeous...Zelda is so darn sweet and Sadie is a beautiful mum with beautiful pups. How are they all doing nowadays?

my bulldog is so cute and reminds me oof zelda everytime i come home from school i open the screen dorr and he runs ti me and while he runs he puts his head up in the air and shakes it it is sooooo cute

Poor little Zelda! She just wants to a be a part of the group! It's a good thing she's so submissive to Sadie.

You can feel for the poor guy... he must be from her first litter, and remembers the warm soft tender love of mom, and the plentyful milk... yeah, that long deep growl tells him "you touch my puppies you are dead"
