Bangor Arena -- 01-05-2012

The holidays are over and it's back to full weeks of work for Cianbro. The large dirt pile next to Main Street, composed mostly of earth excavated for the west wall of the new arena, is gone. An exacavator is now digging a trench in the area to make way for the foundation for the banquet section of the new arena. On the north end of the western wall, the aluminum concrete forms have been removed. Scaffolding has gone up on the south end of the wall, where the main entrance will be. In the southeast corner of the arena's footprint, the large crane continues to lower steel beams into place.
