@5959512 motogp engines are only 800cc and some bikes have v-4s instead of inline fours. go look up all the specs on the motogp website....

The first, is that Yamaha got involved with Fiat (not just as sponsorshipping stuff) and Rossi has a contract wich made him a man of the main italian car brand.
Second is the Ducati not-so-winning policy were the star is the bike itself and not its rider.
Rossi, her ein Italy is a pure idol, and would put in a deep dark shadow a Ducati if he eventually wins with that bike. That's what Ducati fears the most.
And btw, u all don't want Rossi and Stoner together with a Ducati would be boring ;)
