Tillie is our brood mare that we sold with a colt at her side to our freinds Denny and Gretta when Tillie was 11 yrs old. Gretta is industrious and talemted to say the least, so she decided to break Tillie out - and it was a big success. (Then she broke out our mare Fancy that was 20 yrs old and never started under saddle, another success and another story.... )

Last spring I had the chance to buy Tillie back and we have used her for trail rides and riding lessons ever since. We have 15 of our own personal horses - so keeping Tillie is not going to give her the attention and love she deserves. When I find the right home for Tillie, I will sell her, but I will cry anyway... cause she is really sweet and I love her, but I love her enough to put a price on her and start this quest to find her a REALLY GREAT HOME FOR LIFE.

She has an excellant set of TWHBEA papers. Sun's Delight D. is her grandfather on the top and bottom. I've raised 5 colts out of her. All those colts were GrandMa Safe at young ages. I was thinking of breeding her to Andy.... but as I've said, I have 15 of my own personal horses and I\'ve got 3 other mares bred to him so maybe that is enough and Tillie IS GrandMa Safe - it's hard to find GrandMa Safe horses.

She has a lovely gait, she canters, she rides with well with other horses and alone. Traffic, creeks, bridges, no problem.

She does not need a lush green pasture. She is sound and has never foundered but I don\'t want her to be in a pasture where she can eat herself sick. She is "an easy keeper". She "plays well" with others in the pasture too, mares and geldings, no problem.
