  • good barometer

  • ... And to check the accuracy of a thermometer, make a bath of ice and little water the ice doesn't have to be floating but wait 15 to 20 and if thermometer is accurate it should read 32 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • I think in america it is called the NOAA, because I am australian, when weather services take Barometric pressure it is actually calibrated up to the mean sea level pressure, For Example, just say you were 4500 feet above sea level, the pressure will be about 4.56 inches of mercury less than what it would be at sea level, just say the actual barometric pressure at this altitude 25.65 in Hg add 4.56 to the actual barometric pressure this will give the actual Mean sea level of 30.20 in Hg

  • There is several ways, Because I am studying BSc, if you are at sea level and have a precise thermometer boil some water, and the thermometer should be the smallest of fractions under 100 Degrees Celsius around or 211.9 Degrees Fahrenheit, that is if laboratory equipment is involved. Depending on where you for every 986 feet above sea level 1 inch of Hg is lost in atmospheric pressure, then what you have to do is get on the bureau of meteorology, just keep check the barometric pressure.

  • how can you tell when that is?

  • best way to callibrate this is wait until the mean sea level pressure is at 1013 hectopascal 29.95 in Hg or 760 mm Hg

  • i needed it my project 2 lol

  • cool i needed this for my science project
