IT'S NO USE.

Oh, my. This was awesome. GAME CAN YOU STOP BEING SO GOOD, WE'RE SUPPOSED TO BE JADED AND CYNICAL ABOUT YOU.

The third and (I presume final) Mid-Boss, the fight with Silver is all sorts of mind blowing.
His patterns are somewhat random, so you just need to react to what he's doing. Also hard mode is a signifcant boost in difficulty. He is so much harder to hit on this mode.

Unlike Shadow and Perfect Chaos, the trick to beating this battle? Learn what Silver can do, and learn how to react.

His attacks are as follows:
a) Throw a single car - this is the hardest attack to hurt Silver on - you have to react straight away to be able to lock onto him. Home in on the car as soon as possible - if you've done it fast enough, you should get a lock-on to Silver. Be prepared to lock-on to mulitple targets - sometimes the junk on the road can also get locked onto.
b) Pick up a group of cars - this is a easy attack to avoid, and fairly easy to hurt Silver on - but you still need to be quick about it. Try to wait a second or two for Silver to settle the cars - too quick and you won't lock onto anything.
Just remember to point the analoge stick in the direction of your next lock on - otherwise it won't work.
c) Three trailers - on normal, it will only do what is done in the video - one will drop down, and the other two will follow. Just go into the spot where the first one dropped down.
Sometimes how-ever, Silver will drop all three trailers down. Stay in between the first two - this is the biggest gap avaiable.
Unless i'm missing something, I don't think you can hurt him during this attack. I DO have tutorials turned off, so if i'm missing something, let me know and i'll re-record this.
d) Silver will fire off energy blades - if the blade is vertical, just use LB and RB to dodge out of the way. If the blade is horziontal - hop over it with A. Try not to be colliding with obstacles when you do this, or you'll probably get hit.
e) This attack isn't shown in the video, but Silver will summon a large ramped bunch of debris. As soon as Silver sends it your way, jump and boost onto the new platform. When you run close enough to Silver, you can jump and lock onto him. You have to get fairly close. Don't take too long or he'll sweep the ground from under your feet.

Finally, there is the Pinch mode - and this will probably kill you a few times - it's pretty nasty.
Try to have boost remaining by the time Silver does this - it makes it easier.
On Normal he tries to drop one trailer on your head, on Hard, he drops two. Avoid these with the LB and RB buttons. Get close to Silver, jump and lock on, and victory is yours.
Get hit too many times by the trailers, or slow down enough - and you'll get crushed by the meteor - killing you instantly.

All in all - this has been the best boss i've fought in the game so far. As previously stated - i'm recording these as I go along, and have no idea what's coming up next.

  • You fail to dissapoint Ace

  • It;s No use, take this is

  • @OtakuNewsSource and thad is???

  • @EnderMCProductions The best Sonic ever also includes bestiality! Enjoy!

  • This is proof thad if SEGA remade the original sonic next gen it could be praised as the best sonic ever

  • The Wii's Sonic Unleashed sucked both graphically and gameplay-wise, unlike the 360's though...

  • @filipeflower

Exactly. There was no reason for it to not hit the Wii shelves, but it didn't.

  • But I also agree that they could have ported Sonic Generations for the Nintendo Wii, if they wanted to. It's not like it's impossible, I mean, the PC version doesn't require HD to work.

  • @filipeflower

I shouldn't have to do that. The reason it isn't on the Wii is because it needed to be 'prettier', not because the Wii couldn't handle it. The Wii handled Unleashed and Sonic 4 just fine, and this game IS pretty much those games without the SUCK from what I've seen. For all intents and purposes, it COULD be on the Wii, but ISN'T, because it's gotta look all SUPERHAPPYFUNTIMEHI-DEFGRAPHICS. And the Wiitard Sonic fans (Me too) suffer for backing a HD-less console.
