My cousins live in Vidor. Do you happen to know when Vidor ISD is opening?

Well, actually we were out getting fuel for our generator so we could work our well and provide water to our horses, and to me that is a good reason to be out getting gas- and take video on the way for others who wanted to see what our town and their homes looked like.

Good News! We got power back today. I think most of Vidor has power now. Entergy says 100% of Vidor will be back with power by Monday. I'll probably take one more video tomorrow. Things are getting back to normal so there isn't as much to film. There's just a lot of trees and branches everywhere to clean up.

We are operating on generator power. We have internet through a DSL line with AT&T. Power came back on to businesses on Hwy 105 yesterday. Most other roads in North Vidor up to Texla are still without power. The entergy site says all of Vidor should have power restored by September 22nd. Hope that helps.
