finally something that can match the IBM broadband engine cpu performance but anyway that masterpiece was ahead of it's time delivering approximately 230 GFlops without exceeding a TDP of 60-80 watt at just 90 nanometer process, imagine what IBM can do with 22 nanometer, that's why i'm expecting intel to surprise us with something new like 4-way multithreading per core something which already exist in the power7 architecture, the AVX2 instruction set will definitely find his way in x264 encoding

@grudingOyster they may copy it, but its intel who want to rip people off, and its only cuz of amd we have current prices and technology level. If there was no amd you probably couldnt afford intel's weakest 4 core processor.
