In September 2008, the Federal government made a decision to cease all financial assistance to the Step foundation thus denying thousands more young Australians the life-changing experience you are about to witness. Help us reverse this decision.
Step to the Future was one of the most inspiring days of my life. It would be a huge loss to see it end due to lack of funding.
This forumn inspired me to start a 'care for africa project' at our school after the 2008 forum where Diana Morrison spoke.
It opens the eyes of students to see how life is for other people, and makes them aware of the diverse range of people out there and what they have experienced. Step to the future is a really worthwhile cause!
Thank you so much to the people at Step to the Future. Your speeches were not only inspiring, but entertaining and to hear the deep stories of struggle and success from these brilliant speakers is an amazing experience. For the government to take this benefit away from from youth who can learn so much from it is taking away wisdom and attitude we will use later in life. Thank-you very much!!!
just think that it will be a good day to get out of school, however, at the end of the day, they come out feeling that it was so much more. It so much more than just the average motivational forum. It brings students from all around together.Everyone comes away with a different look on life or at least with a memorable experience full of advice to look back on. there is no way that the next generation of students should be denied this wonderful opurtunity.
Yet they are cutting funding for this wonderful program?
this year was my third step to the future forum, with last i was part of the student organising committee, and i feel that these forum make their mark on any person who goes to the forums and takes in what they are aboout.
Our future needs better people, positive people and caring people. these forums provide us with with these things.
i was also at the Lismore steps but yesterday i was touched by Nina funnel's story and if i ever have another chance i will defiantly go back. if you haven't been to a forum GO!
the step to the future foundation is definetly worth fighting for. i attended a forum in lismore today and i can honestly say that i walked out of that room a btter person. it has given me the motivation and determination to overcome obstacles in life and acheive my dreams. thank you, step to the future, for helping me realise my full potential and that no dream is impossible. i wiill definetly be back next year!
i went to that today, it was really good.

Step has only come to my attention today - and I am so glad it has. A thought provoking video.
