I do not own any rights to this video, and its source is not known. This is an older video detailing the sprinkler monitoring capabilities of an ADT automatic fire alarm system in the earlier era. ADT's mechanical coded transmitters and punch-tape central stations closely resemble the Gamewell systems that were used in the late 1800s and are still around today, except the Gamewell systems reported to a municipal fire department while ADT was always a proprietary central station who retransmitted alarms to the fire department. Some old buildings still have this old abandoned ADT equipment in place. On a side note, when the chief says "...and it hollers for help" when the water motor gong rings and the dramatic music score picks up, does anyone else expect Batman to jump in to the rescue? haha
I'll pm you the link.

Ahhh ADT.
I remember a long time ago seeing commercials for ADT saying "We protect you from burglary, fire, flood, and carbon monoxide"
What in the world is preventing them from protecting people from flood today?
