I took this video at Huntsville, Alabama in 1993. This was first round of Pro Mod class at the IHRA Bama Nitrous Nationals. This clip has the first four pairs of cars in the 16 car field. The second four pairs are in the second clip.
This is an awesome video. I grew up at this racetrack. I remember these cars like it was yesterday. Sad to see the destruction from the tornado that hit the track. Hope we all can still race there one day.
Meant to add to my last comment that I lived in Toney since I was born, and I never seen action at the Huntsville Dragway until I was 14, or back in 2004. Man, since then, all these houses being built around the dragway kept these kinds of cars away. Never should have been houses around the drag strip in the first place. These kinds of cars need to stay. :)
And why wasn't I around to see this back in '93? Darn, I was only 3 at the time. I didn't know about the Huntsville Dragway until I was about 9-10 years old, and I live about 4 miles away from the drag strip.
