My first video done with editing of any kind! Yay.

Listen to the commentary... it's rather important.

This video is meant to expand upon my first video concerning superglassmake, and to hopefully make some aspects of the technique clearer with the commentary.

Stuff I missed / forgot to say in the commentary:

When Banking, I click the Bank Chest as my character's arms bob down the second time. This allows for optimum speed I've found. I'm using Mousekeys obviously, and I'm also using Stickykeys to keep Control held down. I use 2 and 8 on the Number pad, 2 to move the cursor down to "withdraw 13", then 8 to move it up to seaweed, then 2 again to move it down to "Witdraw All", then 8 again to move it close to the exit box. I use the buttons on the mouse for all actual clicking. I don't like using the 5 key. When done correctly, You will close your bank while the animation of the spell is still in progress, and you will start your next spell as the previous spell's animation ends. It takes some practice though.

Using this technique, you can cast the spell around 500-600 times per hour which gains about 65-75K Crafting and 35-45K Magic Exp per hour. (This does currently profit, but prices are changing everyday. Keep an eye on prices and you'll be fine.)

You get 130 Crafting exp and 78 Magic Exp per spell. (Crafting exp assumes you use 13 supplies per spell.) I say in the commentary that the profit is about 700k per hour, but this only applies for the date that I made this video, i.e. June 8,2009. Look up the prices and assume you get 16.92 glass per 13 supplies and make calculations based off current market prices to find current profits. That rate also assumes you get 580 spells per hour which is my average. A lot of people will have difficulty getting this many.

- Notes on Superglass Make versus Crafting Green Dragonhide Bodies -

"I did the Calculations ruling out Stealing Creation and assuming that everything is bought and sold at the current med price (July 20, 2009). Note that the prices are highly likely to fluctuate over time, but these results should stay more or less the same.

Okay, so I did the Calculations for level 92 to 99 Crafting, or approximately 6.5M exp.

Doing Green Dragonhide Bodies Maxes at 290K exp/hour, or about 1560 bodies per hour. Assuming med prices are used, You lose 1313 gp per body, thus about 2.05M Gp per hour.

To get 6.5M exp at this hourly rate would take approximately 22.5 Hours, and at 2.05M gp per hour, You'd lose about 45.9M Gp on the way to 99.

Doing Superglass Make maxes at around 75K exp/hour, or about 580 Spells per hour. Assuming Med Prices are used, You profit approximately 534K Gp per hour (I took one of my old test results and plugged in current GE Values).

To get 6.5M exp with this hourly rate would take approximately 86.5 Hours, and at 534k gp per hour, you'd gain about 46.3M Gp on the way to 99.

Now, by doing Dragonhide Bodies, you save yourself 64 Hours of Crafting. However, you end up with 92.2M Gp more cash if you did Superglass Make. If you take 92.2M and divide by 64 Hours, you get 1.44M Gp per hour.

What this means is that if your best/most reliable money making method makes less than 1.44M Gp/hour (which is most of you), you would be better off doing Superglass Make to 99 Crafting.

This does not even take into accout the 45K/hour or so Magic Experience that you get from Superglass Make, which is what really seals the deal for me.

Note that it takes a fair amount of practice to achieve this maximum rate at Superglass Make, but in my opinion, It is definately worth it."

Copied and pasted those notes from a post I made on RSOF.

  • steam staff?

  • @Disturbed58585858 Steam Staff provides Fire and Water Runes. This spell needs Fire and Air Runes. There is no Staff that provides this combination, so an Air Staff is the best choice.

  • @HorcruxRab true, my bad, great guide, does this still work?

  • @Disturbed58585858 Probably (I assume you mean profit-wise). I don't play RS anymore, and so the prices are way out of date, but if you buy and sell at the right prices you could probably make more money than this used to make.

  • @godswordpking you can tell he's using script at the end when he mouses over the stuff in his inventory 1 by 1

  • nice vid :) very helpful

  • Shit this is still good money to this day :D

  • @godswordpking If they were then most of the top ranked players on Runescape would have been banned long ago.

It's legal, because its an accessibilty option available on any computer viz the control pannel, its not any kind of program, so its not third-party software.

  • CMON!!! stop setting money making guides cause if everyone does this.. we get less profits.. I got some money making methods that no one knows and I am not planning to tell everyone cause then i wont get my profit anymore..

  • Whenever I use mouse keys, afterwards by keyboard is always messed up in some way and takes awhile to get it back perfectly ... :P
