HTC EVO 4G #1. Battery Saving Tip

After 16.5 usage including:text messaging,facebook, youtube,camera, flashlight,internet,music,and phone calls through out the day i still managed to have 45% left. idk bout you guys but dam,thats good.
APPS that might help: advanced task killer.[i didnt run it once today and still managed to get 45% so u can reconsider that ]
and powersavemode toggle. IT HELPS. ill make another video on how the battery last with the froyo 2.2 update.

METHOD: charge the phone while its ON over night, once the light turns green, unplug the charger, turn the phone OFF. replug the charger, at this time an orange light will come up, wait till it turns green and then when it does unplug and turn the phone on, the apps i recommended will run on start up and watch the magic work guys!!

hey I have the htc evo shift and am having the same problem with crappy battery. I have the task killer and the batter save on. For one of the options it asks to disable powersave when it's plugged into the charger. Do you suggest that it be enabled or disabled? Im not sure if having it on will help once its unplugged of if itll just slow down charging

@GreeKGirL613 no u should disable it when you are charging it then enable it once ur fully charge. thats what i do. and ive found better ways to save battery and stuff i just havent had time to make a video ill do it soon though.

hey sorry for the late feedback guys im super busy with...uhmmm lifeee i havent played with my fone for a while but im going to make a video tonight on what ive done since that video and the little tips and tricks that i used to keep the battery as efficient as possible. that night i made that first video was the best that ive ever had it running.. i cant get 16 hours with 45 percent left it bugs me so bad!

The evo shift 4g has more batterie life then the original. It should be a little bit easier the save battery life. :)

oh and also I noticed your display settings were really really low. Mine is high even though I have everything either on the lowest setting or off. I dont have any live wallpapers. Thanks!
