As to this vid, love it. Also, your Swiss meringue buttercream is the absolute best, pretty much impossible to mess up and so silky.

Supertruth77 It's possibly because a REALLY good cupcake is harder to perfect than a normal cake. 2 minutes either way and it's ruined, over beat them for a fraction and the protein in the flour goes hard an ruins the cupcake.
