NASCAR collector Greg Evans has decided to part with his incredible collection of racing memorabilia, and in this video he talks about one of the items being sold on GoMotorBids.com.
What happens when you combine a Les Paul guitar (arguably the most famous electric guitar of all time) and Dale Earnhardt (undeniably the most famous NASCAR driver)? You get one absolutely stunning and highly desirable collectible.
This is the second in the custom Earnhardt series of Gibson Les Paul electric guitars which feature Sam Bass art. This one is serial # DE2-007, and includes a Certificate of Authenticity, signed Sam Bass cards, and two lithographs of the artwork that was used on the guitar (also personally signed by Bass). Also included are a set of Earnhardt picks, a Gibson hard carrying case, and a stand to display it on.
Evans has partnered with the well-known automobilia auction website GoMotorBids.com to sell his massive array of memorabilia and Diecast collectibles. You can get more information about this item (plus thousands more) by visiting GoMotorBids.com!

Thanks for the comment. Only 333 of these were produced, and this particular one sold for just over $1000. We felt that was kinda low and it probably should have brought more, but with the economy being what it is, the "value" of collector items like this is way down.
