Sadly, you're right that most Democrats aren't interested in impeaching Bush, even though impeachment would be in the best interests of both the nation and of the Democrats.

But don't be so sure that there won't be another Republican presidency for a long time. Recent past and future Democratic victories have happened mostly as a result of Republican incompetence, not Democratic leadership. Such victories may well be short lived.

Not to mention he's left his replacement a real mess to try and fix. And who knows how long that'll take.

One thing's for sure, he'll definitely be remembered in history... but probably not the way he'd like.
