  • It's like the difference between night and day.

  • John Howard is a statesman. Kevin Rudd pales into insignificance beside him. Get rid of the ALP before their debt cripples us all.

  • The younger generations grew up only knowing the coalition governemnt, so it's only natural that their beliefs are going to differ and the opposition become much more appealing. Winning 4 elections under the same leader is proof that howard's coalition was a good government. But times change and the current labor party, and coalition in opposition need to find a level ground between generations.

  • i thought peter was going to screw me in the arse watch his video of costello when he was running after me lucky i had peacock stuck in my rectum

  • Best PM ever.

  • Cut payroll tax. As they say the best Ideas are the ones that seem so simple and obvious in retrospect. Wake up Australia, why not a fifth term?

  • Intellectually flawed, internally inconsistent and historically inaccurate. It is just beautiful, trust Howard to indict the modern government with such an off the cuff and spontaneous remark.

  • When he says payroll tax, is he referring to tax-withheld i.e. PAYG, or is he referring to " tax that is paid from the employer's own funds and that is directly related to employing a worker, which can consist of a fixed charge or be proportionally linked to an employee's pay" (Wikipedia)?

  • Paul Keating was Australia's best Prime Minister. He laid the groundwork for the future of a very successful Australia. John Howard was the best politician this country has ever seen.
