  • And, since a lot of people in California don't pay income taxes, the state can just eliminate it's income tax and raise the sales tax rate by the same percentage to increase revenue.

  • There would be no need for unions if the state and local governments would stop supporting big businesses over small businesses and forcing people into jobs. Everything from public ordinances and permits that restrict what people can do on public property to zoning laws that restrict what people can do with their own property to strip malls and shopping centers where competition is non-existent. All in the effort to maximize sales and income taxes. Wake up people! Government is not our friend.
