Does what we believe about God really matter? In What Good is God? Phillip Yancey travels the globe in search of an answer. From Virginia Tech's devastated campus, to shell-shocked Mumbai, India--he uncovers faith and hope alive in the hearts of those you may least expect. Yancey also shares several messages he delivered at speaking engagements, such as a conference on ministry to women in prostitution, or at Oxford University for the C.S. Lewis Foundation. Each of the ten stories Yancey shares offer firsthand evidence that faith does matter in real life, even when that belief is sorely tested.
"even a atheist could get into heaven" - what makes you think this would be the case
"I truly believe Jesus will meet everyone when they are dead in spirit form." - yes, but won't Jesus meet everyone as the Holy Judge? or do you believe everyone will get into heaven?

I think there is so much HATE for religion and especially Christianity, that some people miss the entire message of the Bible.
I am sure Phillip didn't believe in God suddenly because of "damnation."
He and many other Christians know that Jesus is above death, and even a atheist could get into heaven. I truly believe Jesus will meet everyone when they are dead in spirit form.
The joy, is knowing of Jesus now, and understanding though the world is plundered/BLIND in sin; God is there.
