if your uploading film: use iphoto and import them from your camera... if your using film i don't know srry but i just finished two movies with my cousin on his mac. one is MOUNTIME and MERRY SEX CHANGE.

im using final cut pro 5.4.1, iMovie won't recognise it either.
im on a 2.0Ghz G5 iMac, Osx 10.4.11, loads of free hard drive space

hey- has anyone been able to import footage using a mac?
my camera doesn't recognise that it's been plugged in..

I use Final Cut and it recognizes it.

I wan't to buy a new camera..would you recommand the HV-10? is it realy good quality? and is there a USB port for it? PLEASE AWNSER!!

yes i would recommend the hv-10 to anyone that wants a camera.
the quality is very nice and you have a lot of things to work with when you get into editing.
it does have a usb port but that is only for the pictures, you cannot get movies onto a card then upload you can only use the mini dv.
