In this clip from the 1993 BBC film "Selected Exits" the novelist Gwyn Thomas is invited to London by George Devine and invited to write a play for the theatre. The Welsh BAFTA award winning script was adapted from Gwyn Thomas' autobiography "A Few Selected Exits" by Alan Plater. The part of Gwyn Thomas is played by Oscar winning actor Sir Anthony Hopkins, and the part of George Devine by Ian McDiarmid.
