Kathleen Driskell is the author of Seed Across Snow, a collection of poems published by Red Hen Press. Her first full-length book of poems, Laughing Sickness, is in its second printing. She also has published High Horse: Contemporary Writing by the MFA Faculty of Spalding University (co-edited with Sena Jeter Naslund) and Place Gives Rise to Spirit: Writers on Louisville, an anthology she edited as a fundraising project for the Kentucky Writers' Coalition, a non-profit statewide writers' organization she helped to found in 1996. Driskell is the associate program director of Spalding University's brief-residency Master of Fine Arts in Writing Program, where she serves as a member of the poetry faculty, and associate editor of The Louisville Review. A past regular contributor to WFPL 89.3 FM, Louisville's NPR affiliate, she also coordinated the Community Journal Project for that radio station.
