In 2007 at the American Honda Motor Co Inc. headquarters, in Torrance, California, the largest gathering of S2000′s assembled in the parking lot into the event known as Homecoming. Nearly 500 s2000 from all over North America traveled to be part of it. Chief engineer, Shigeru Uehara, aka the "Father of the S2000″ made his appearance to reveal the new s2000 CR, Club Racer, to the masses.

Then, in 2009 rumors and interest of a Homecoming II emerged on the S2ki forums. Michael Trinh and his team worked quickly to talk to Honda to secure a date and work through all the logistics. He updated frequently to let everyone know what was going on. Then when all was set, Homecoming II was announced.

More than a year in the making, Homecoming II was here...




7:15am Irvine, CA
All the drivers met at an undisclosed location in Irvine. Where each car was separated by color and specific instructions were given to help keep the event more organized. Patrons of the surrounding businesses were shocked to see their favorite parking spot taken over by a sea of S2000. Although Irvine PD showed up to flex its muscles, no one caused any trouble. From their we made the drive to Torrance to begin the event.



Once at Honda, everyone went to check out the show cars, the vendors, and buy raffle tickets. During the opening ceremony, our special guest was introduced, which was once again, the "Father of the S2000″ Shigeru Uehara.



Our Time Attack drivers, Tom and Adrian, cooled off under the Toyo Tent where we hung out with some old friends at Pit Crew Motorsports enjoying the view courtesy of Ms. Alexia Cortez
