As far as the BIG PICTURE goes, I think that the Rockefeller family & the Morgans, and the World Bank, Oil Companies, the Fed Reserve, and military contractors, along with the boards of the biggest corps run the entire world, not just the U.S.
Politicians of both parties are nothing but the bitches who do the will of these powerful people. We have no democracy because the government reports to the powerful, not to the average person.
REAL economic plan: Throw out the bad Asian trade deals.

Speaking well is a sign of intelligence. The idea of an intelligent president is appealing.
Anyway, I will actually give you a serious answer. I voted for Obama over Hillary in the primaries because Hillary voted too much to support every policy of Bush/Cheney. Because of all her Senate votes, Hillary did not deserve the nomination. I don't think Obama is a saviour, but he has surprised me in a good way for the past week.

If Obama had not been such a strong public speaker, he wouldn't have gotten nearly as many votes as he did. In fact, he may have lost.
