TV and recording star Ricky Nelson sings two country songs in this clip from The Adventures Of Ozzie & Harriet. I believe the second song is called Truck Drivin' Man. The complete episode is available at HoughsVideos.50Megs.Com

  • To all the Ricky fans here, let a personal friend of his tell you he was as good a guy offstage as he was onstage and on screen. By the time I met him he had been through the hard times with drugs and divorce, and was comfortable in his own skin again, and feeling upbeat about the future. Making good records too. His music brings back only good memories, but it now also reminds me of warm friendship, and one man's life, that ended way too soon. To say I miss him is an understatement.

  • RICKY NELSON IS A ROCK N ROLL LEGEND......nuff said.

  • magnifique ses chanson country chanter par RICKY

  • Great California country sound .I wasn't disappointed at all

  • @cagney24 Yeah and he put the "Y" back in his name and returned to the IMPERIAL sound --so much so that he seemed embarrased when he performed Garden Party

  • Yep, that's James Burton. Rick wanted his own musicians not just studio regulars....so he rounded up some top guys, who eventually became the Stone Canyon Band. Great band.

  • @wdchefdave56 Willie was already an established singer-songwriter at the time this came out, so I doubt he'd be doing session work, especially on an electric guitar:)

  • He was a natural for country music.

  • @cagney24 I dont know much about the guy. but when I was a shorty, i came across a re-run of the families show. He was singing I'M WALKING'... I knew something was special about him. He was blessed!!! I WILL NEVER FORGET THE IMPACT HE MADE IN MY LIFE!!

  • @cagney24

I agree. I watched Rick Nelson grow up on TV. LOVED all this songs.....He left way too early. MISS HIM:))))

  • @cagney24...you are very lucky to have known him....but I feel like I knew him.Never missed the show...always felt like I was a part of the family!

  • Thanks a lot, Mom and Dad......couldn't even stay through the whole song.
