I think i know why they dropped those 2 other kids, which is sad b/c I liked them too & thought it would be awesome if they were all a family. Chuckie Lee, the little girl, & Dorthy Jane are the most straightforward of the kids so they'd portray the country style clashing with city best. Either that or the director really liked having just 5 kids.

@devilishduo2008 it became almost home after the first season of the torkelsons. isntead of a second season they just went in a diff direction. the other son and daughter were never seen or spoken of in this show. its a mystery.
