Biden thinks gun owner should have his head examined

golden, we limit freedoms in all kinds of ways. to act like this can't be an issue of limited freedom as well is insane self-interest. the second amendment doesn't say that every citizen can carry any weapon they choose, anywhere they want, anytime they want, for any reason they want. the amendment wasn't written with public safety from common criminals in mind, but to thwart further efforts of a tyrannical british governance to control the land. now it is used to "defend against criminals".

Probition didn't work on Alcohol, it doesn't work on drugs, and it wont work on Alcohol.

That means that when someone who doesn't care about laws, busts open your door and attacks you with a gun, you wont have one because you followed the law.

myc, the issue of defending yourself in your house with a firearm was not addressed. it wouldn't matter if the gun a person had when they broke into you house was legal or illegal. you can have a gun in your home, so your question was moot.
