I don't blame Murley for breaking his contract and signing with a KHL team. He was reportedly given a one-year deal worth $700,000 to play there. It would have taken him about 6-7 years in the AHL to make that much money. The career of a hockey player doesn't last that long and can end at any time, so I think Murley made the right decision for himself and his family.
