Planning to ride Route 66 from Chicago to LA next summer on my Road King.
Keep looking at vids other people have made and makes me wanna do it now, can't wait :-)

Great vid! me and 3 mates did some of route 66 this year, we had Harleys for 2 days, so rode out from Vegas to the Hoover dam, then along the 66 to Williams near Flagstaff, Day 2 saw us ride north up to the Grand Canyon, Amazing, then we headed East then turned North up to Page near Utah then back down to Vegas...Seeing Vegas come in to view all lit up at night was awesome...i must get back out there some time ...maybe do the whole route next time though..

My son and I are going to do 66 when we ride from New Orleans to Vegas this year. Going to jump up to Tulsa and take it from there. I'm riding the knucklehead and he'll follow me in his 63 Chev pickup. How much fun is that?!

wow. this is great. i wanna do this too someday. looks like so much fun. freedom to just 'take off" and see this wonderful, old historic piece of america, while there's still a little left. great vid.

Was a great trip and would love to do it again sometime, Okbulider your going to love it, most of the route still there some running next to the freeway, get the Lonely Planet Route 66 guide book as it has the whole route in it with maps and tips, Helped us stay on the route 66 all the way very helpful.
