  • What ulterior motive would the president have to keep Americans out of the workplace? None. Yes, we are all anxious to get back to work, but he did not create this recession, he inherited it.

I look forward to seeing ideas from the Job summit being implemented. Yes and part of those Stimulus monies should go to re-training for former middle managment professionals. We are being whipped in this economy.

  • ok i am sorry but this man is working as hard as none globe leader, and americans just keep complaining... I am sorry but you seem to be stupid ppl.. what dont you like that he is fixing ur health care, that he saved the country's economy? from

  • Under President Barak Hussein Obama the United States of America's economy has enjoyed 5 consecutive positive GDP quarters. Unemployment claims has dropped for 2 consecutive months and unemployment rate remains stabilized at 9.6% with many states under the 9.6% national figure. Billionaire Warren Buffet and billionaire George Soros and many millionaires are in favor of the bush tax cut to expire because they feel that the rich should pay more in taxes for having the right to do biz in the US!

  • The current jobs bill gives tax breaks to H1Bs and green card holders who can legally collect unemployment,

American companies will get a tax break for hiring foreigners who can collect unemployment...

What started as moving manufacturing abroad, then outsourcing,

and hiring foreigners over Americans constitutes "Trickle Out Economics" and nobody seems to realize this

is real culprit of why our economy is going down.

Why we are at a distinct disadvantage is because we are a good and decent Country. When competing or trading with other nations that have no regard for the rights of their People except as pawns in the political game or to be used in a strategy to de industrialize the United States. This is the problem and until we can re industrialize this Country we will continue to have separation of the classes.

  • The way a Nation treats its own People is how it will treat other Nations and when you look at some of the practices engaged in the domestic policies of nations that are our trading partners that the average American would fine repugnant. The average American would fine as antithetical to the concept of Human liberty coming from a creator rather than a central Government.

  • By far the most AWESOME man in the world...Great speech!!!

  • I never said that, in fact I think the gold standard had big problems. I resent you using the word conspiracy however, that word shuts down any debate.

I've followed financial markets very closely and I am very well versed in US finance history. And the Fed is unusually for the banker's side compared to other central banks. Tell me why.

  • Renegen: please don't be one of the conspiracy theorist where everythig is this conspiracy. We've had the fed since 1913. If you really think going back to the 19th century golf standard then you are clearly backwards.

    sorry.
