Agreed...I prefer the DVD editing. Seeing as Lynch shepherded this release and approved all the transfers, one has to wonder if he was responsible for punching this scene up a bit.

the new editing adds to it. it makes it a LOT more frightening to one of the scariest parts of the series. bob's identity runs over leland like water.
i thought, seriously believed, there was something different about the scene... but i checked, compared the two frames. everything else is EXACTLY the same. ~shudders!~
