Film recently found in an attic could possibly be the oldest british surf footage ever.
The film shows a group of friends from London enjoying the beach and the sea in 1920's Cornwall.
The film also shows how the city teenagers even made their own longboards. This came about after a trip to the local cinema.
The friends had seen a newsreel about surfing. They saw the boards and thought it was absolutely fantastic."
As you watch the film you may spot that the enthusiastic youngsters are unable to stand up on their home made board. This is because they didn't realise there was something they had forgotten, a stabiliser underneath the surf board - A Fin....
