Castlevania SotN - Wooden Bridge on the Underground Cavern

This is probably obvious if you collect the map percentage. You need the bat to access this one, first fly to the upper left side of the waterfall, press the switch and go back to the room where the wooden bridge is, there should be a Skeleton Ape there, lure it near the bridge and let it throw the flaming barrel and the bridge should be destroyed. Well, the segment of the castle that will be opened here isn't really important if the chapel's spike room is cleared with a simple trick.

fuck...now i understand what happened, the skeleton ape, weirdly, appeared the first time i get there, the bridge got broken...... and i am on the lower part of the game

with no stone of lape or bat echo or anything that can make me jump higher
