  • A big big like...so down to earth, practical...covering so many areas (Modes,Arpeggios) a great tutorial overall. Keep on educating us (Bass Players). Thanks :-)

  • @jlebesis well you know how it goes on youtube. People freak out about the smallest shit. Clearly i did there, but it would be rather annoying if you were actually serious. Just out of curiosity, are you a studio musician, or do you do something else?

  • @CillaBlack5 Lol, I agree, it was a black and white humourous statement, I apologise for that ;) I am a professional musician, so it wasn't meant in poor taste. I'd be a hyprocrite hanging it on ANY style of music as it all had an influence on me as a muso. With respect, please be careful what conclusions you jump to. I made one statement, and you wrote me a whole paragraph about my lack of musical taste lol Glad you asked about me first . haha. All good mate, no harm intended.

  • @jlebesis You are clearly one of the more ignorant people about other genres of music. Maybe you should educate yourself about metal some more because most metal that I listen to consists of musicians who are jazz educated. Yeah sure, if you consider Avenged Sevenfold metal then you might be right, but most don't consider that metal anyways. Please broaden your musical tastes a bit and don't be so ignorant. I'm not even going to try to understand why you included the word "goth" with metal...

  • wish i could sound the way he said that i wouldn't want to do.

  • 5 Metal fans disliked this video, as it involved more than a pick, and a goth girlfriend.

  • Musical expression will always be personal preferences...not one way is better than another. This is the most cocky-ass statement a musician can possibly make. After that I really have no desire to hear what this clown has to say musically. A person's personality is directly linked to his/her musical expressions, and this guy just comes across a total jerk to me.

  • This is guy is incredibly concise and articulate (both speaking and playing). I don't like the bass tone at all (miss a warmer old school sound but that's me).

What a great teacher and lesson --thanks for posting!!

  • Rlly nice eye opener, thnx man
