You may be new to Backtrack and wondering how to get it running. This tutorial will aim to give you a good idea about what backtrack is, where to download from and how to use as a Live CD.
This is one of the many tutorials I will be uploading in the near future. Be sure to subscribe and if you have any questions, then visit the forums where I will be most of the time.

so say i run backtrack from the disk... use it then turn my pc off,
then will windows stil work? if i just boot up regularly?

I got a question.
when ever im at that console screen Im logged in.
and type "startx" screen flashes. it just reboots my pc.
asking to start with windows.
what do I do now?

@kwaser2000 Most drivers for wireless cards are pre-installed on Backtrack. Type airmon-ng in a terminal
