This rebellious duo is from London with Jamaican roots. They express their message through progressive Hip Hop, compounded with African and Caribbean traditions, Jazz, Afro beat, Soul and World Music and create a wild mix of cosmopolitan influences.
These Muslim Women are considered to be revolutionaries and are, so far, a downright exception in the Muslim Hip Hop-Scene, where they stand up for the female emancipation. Hence, through their presence in the music scene, they show that a traditional, religious based conduct and participation in a modern lifestyle, with all its creative opportunities of self-development, don't have to exclude, in fact, it's the opposite as their inspiration can convey to a universal world view. Viewed within context, their music motivates young women, supports self-esteem and inspires.
Furthermore, POETIC PILGRMAGE spread their message of Peace, Unity and Liberty.
