Gear bangin in a manual trans diesel

ZF-6 duramax at the dragstrip. 12 second, stock turbo, manual transmission duramax. 2nd gear launch @ 2800rpm. Stock turbo, stock trans, stock injectors, stock cp3, stock motor, #2 only. 4x4 launch, shifting out of 4wd after the 4th gear shift.

@supercarbuilder After shifting into 3rd I take the truck out of 4wd with the floor transfer case shifter. There is a lot going on in 12 seconds!

@rymaghicksy yeah. They had 5 speed manuals from 2001-07 and six speed manuals from 2001-2006. If you ever find one, buy it, baby it and hold on to it. I can only see the value of the trucks with manuals going up because they were rare when they were made and they're getting even rarer. I saw a 2005 in my area in decent condition with a good chunk of miles on it go for $12k
