This climatic, beautiful and emotionally gripping scene is from Michael Mann's 1992 film "The Last of the Mohicans," starring Daniel Day-Lewis (Hawkeye/Nathaniel Poe), Madeleine Stowe (Cora Munro), Russell Means (Chingachgook), Eric Schweig (Uncas), Jodhi May (Alice Munro), Steven Waddington (Maj. Duncan Heyward), and Wes Studi (Magua).

This is off the blu ray version, so presumably you should be able to view it in full high definition or 1080p. Enjoy!!

  • Is there any doubt that Wes Studi is the greatest Native American actor that Hollywood has ever known? He's still bringing his awesomeness to the screen in AMC's "Hell on Wheels."

  • I know it's fiction, I know it's a novel... but DAM IT! what a scene!!!!!

  • burned at the stake

  • Mistrzostwo Świata. Kultowy Film.

  • Wes Studi, the boss of bosss, the greatest Native American actor who ever lived

  • Epic movie-epic soundtrack.

  • It is nice to see for once, an English officer not depicted as a cad, coward, bungler, toffee nosed ponce, efffeminate limp wristed sadist and any other of Hollywood.s contemptuious depictions of them. Indeed, it is truer to say that the present day actors, directors and assorted mandarins of Hollywood bear more resemblance to their stereo typical Englishman than ever the English officer class was capable of, ever. Overbearing is as far as I would go but their courage has never been in doubt.

  • One of the best movies ever made truely fabulously done! Epic soundtrack!

  • probably hands down the best scene EVER...really!

  • Why did Uncas not use his stag knife when he fought Magua?! It was in his belt the whole time.

  • Every shot of this scene is awesome. Great film making. I love the bit at 7:50 where Chingachgook comes flying out of the trees and stabs the dude in the gut without slowing down going right into the end fight with Mugua which wasn't a fight at all.Chingachgook absolutely dismantles the fool. The look on Mugua's face when he is beat is priceless. The man took his heart and he knows it.And the direction is so skilled during that scene you feel every impactThey don't make'em like this anymore :-(

  • @Mythilly YES THIS IS FUCKING EPIC!!!!!
