Chapter 12

"What were you looking at?" Jamie said crawling onto the couch I was just sitting on and looking out the window.
I glanced out the window and didn't see Joe anywhere whew the last thing I needed was more talk about me "staring"
"So what the heck happened?" Nathan asked and I turned from the window as they passed by me walking further back into the bus.
"nothing really security took car of him" I said and Nathan looked at me
"You alright though?" he said and I rolled my eyes
"I'm fine" I said and he smiled walking to the back of the bus I followed him, Nathan was my big brother s best friend except that was thanks to me, We had been best friends sense 3rd grade and he took on the roll of my second big brother, we both knew each other backwards and forwards but yet we had no intrest in one another except as friends which left me with my best friend and a second big brother, I had introduced him to my big brother when we met and we were like three amigos.
I sat down across from Nathan on the upside down U shaped couch
"You holding up alright?" he asked and I looked up
"just great" I said and he lifted an eyebrow at me
"whats up?" he said and I picked up a notebook
"Not much" I said as I started scribbling some lyric ideas I glanced up to see Nathan looking at Natalie.
I was the only one who knew how huge of a crush he had on her.
I flipped the notebook paper over and scribbled on it
-why don't you tell her?- and crinkled it up in a little ball throwing it at him.
He looked at me and opened it and rolled his eyes turning it over and pulling out a sharpie wrote something and held it up I squinted to read it
"Because she doesn't like me like that" it said I flipped another page
"You'll never know if you don't try ;)" I put and held it up.
Nathan grabbed another pad of paper and wrote something on it holding it up
"Your one to talk" he said and it I got this wierd sharp feeling in my stomach. I looked down and than at the lyrics I had just written
-maybe love can feel like an ocean and I'm starting to feel like my heart is lighting on fire getting ready to make me feel alive and I owe it all to the look in your eyes-
I took my pen and scribbled it out until you could barely read it and started writing something else
-the feeling comes back and hits me hard, I'm pulling away and I mind as well wipe all my feelings off my face because I don't want you I have to erase the feelings because I can't let you know because I don't want to feel the way I feel because another piece can't get broken of my heart- I was about to write more when a piece of paper in the form of a airplane hit me in the head I looked up at Nathan and reached down picking it up
"sorry I shouldn't of said that..." he wrote and I turned it over
"Its okay" I wrote and threw it back at him causing him to laugh
"what are you guys doing!" Natalie said sitting by me
I turned the notebook over and Nathan was closing the notebook so Natalie wouldn't see anything and than he opened the airplane.
"one more show and than back home" Natalie said and I nodded and Natalie looked from me to Nathan
"Should I leave you two alone?" she asked and we both laughed
"Nats come on you know me and Nate" I said and she smiled
"Yeah" she said taking the notebook from my hands before I could stop her
She squinted looking at what I scribbled out she put the notebook and looked up at me
"Als..." she said
"what?" I said
"I think we should talk about this come on girl!" she said and than Nathan got up
"Chick drama I'm out of here" he said starting to walk away and I laughed
"no its not!" Natalie said and sat back down
"I like the first one" she said and I rolled my eyes and she took my pen from my hand and wrote something and handed them back to me and walked away leaving me and Nathan alone in the back of the bus
I turned the notebook over reading it
"Finish the first one and let me know when your done I'd like to know the rest of your feelings for Joe"
I rolled my eyes and smiled holding the notebook close to my chest looking out the window
My phone buzzed next to me and I picked it up and my smile faded from my face.
"Whats the matter?" Nathan asked
