The video of Shirley Sherrod released by Andrew Brietbart's Big Government Blog on July 19 didn't tell the full story. It was selectively edited to cast her in a negative light. Here is the video, shot by the local NAACP unit that hosted Ms. Sherrod. Watch the video, and judge for yourself.

This video was broadcast in March 2010 on DCTV in DeKalb county, Georgia. The speech has not been edited. There is a cut around 21:00 where the filmmaker changed tapes.

If you have not walked in her shoes, you don't know how if feels to walk in her shoes. Be quick to listen and slow to judge. Slow to criticize and quick to learn from what she has to say. She speaks of the experience of her family and speak on what many Black people from that time are still afraid to speak about.

White guy speaking: This is a woman who learned from experience. Originally she learned to be racist because white farmers killed her father. But she then learned that it was wrong and that it is an issue of the rich against the poor. I'd vote for this woman to be President or vice President next to Ron Paul. (I'd love to see that.) I saw the edit @ 20:59. Whatever it was, it wasn't anything like what Briebart did. It could have been a battery replacement. Doubt it was a hack job.

I am so glad someone is finally standing up to FOX propaganda and not being afraid of them because they and the Republicans thrive on scarring people to death and I must admit they have always did a good job at it. The democratics always pretend to come at them and then back off because of scare attacks by the right. It took a strong, bold woman to stand up to Breitbart and FOX. Mrs. Sherrod is such a classy, outstanding woman that set such a positive example for people of all races.

after watching this video i feel Mrs Sherrod was wronged in so many ways. She speaks to everyone's concerns. Save your money, get an education, learn a skill, pull your own weight and help those who need your help. these messages are sound advice and everyone should listen to her words.

How can anyone call this lady a racist if they have watched the whole video? She talked about how she came to a point 23 years ago where it was about poor people that needed help not black or white.
