Honestly, all these comparisons feel stupid to me as there really is no absolute scale, on which you could place musicians. Rob definitely has a skill, Metallica don't take in just anyone. And as for the playing style, you like one bassist, I like another, there is no better or worse. It's not atletics, where you can mesaure how many seconds it takes for the runner to cross 100 m distance.

@MyMusicsLikeADrug lady gaga plays in front of thousands of people as well. does that mean she's good?? im not saying he sucks... but it's true, he's not that great.. look at tony choy, jeroen thessling, THOSE are good bassists. this guy was hired cause he could play battery, i can play battery... and no i don't have a camera
