Randy has the most amazing voice. As a song writer, it's a life experience. Yea Tim replaced Randy in Poco and the Eagles, but he was just a replacement for someone who could not really be replaced. He never wrote or sang a song like this or Take it to the Limit. A limited bass player at best.

as true as it gets strong piano and string arrangement and the vocals are exceptional listening to any of randy meisners songs is like opening a book on life experience, jesus he could not only write them but sing them with a deft of clarity and feeling
