eh. not really. most of the weight is the barrel, bolt, and ammo.

Is it lighter? Is there a noticeable difference in weight?

I printed the lower in two parts, and had to put both parts together.

The upper is the same as with a non-printed lower. The barrel, bolt, and upper receiver are all the same between lowers. The trigger pull is the same(because the trigger group is the same). I adjusted the grip angle a little bit, but I didn't have to. Comfort is pretty much the same. The scope was not touched when moving uppers between lowers.

And where was more work needed?

Is there any worry about precision? Accuracy? Maybe the bullet exits differently, than if shot from a regular AR-15? Any difference in the trigger pull, or does the shape feel different? Is it more comfortable for you to shoot a regular AR-15, than one with a ABS plastic printed lower receiver? Is it a different experience fitting this with other parts? Did it affect the scope at all?

It was more work to put together. but functionally there is very little difference.

I see. So there's little difference between it and a regular gun?

I did a couple hundred with this .22LR upper, and about 150 with the 5.45x39 upper, because it was freezing out.

It shoots just like the machined lower that I bought did.

How many shots has it been able to fire? Does it shoot well?
