The Tom Morrow Show - Take One

If you lived in the 1970's, you may remember the old Tom Snider late night talk show? This satire is dedicated, to not only the memory of his show, but the hypocrisies of the time. Please keep in mind that the 1970's were a time of great change and controversy, if you did not live in or through that time period. This was the time when television shows, like Saturday Night Live, with its original cast, was just getting started on the air waves.

We college students had our own ideas of satire back in those days, which never made it onto television. What you are about to watch is the first take, of two takes, of the "Tom Morrow Late Night Television Talk Show", never ready for prime time players back then, but available now for viewing on TheAsbroboy9 channel on YouTube. No one thought to save this production back in those days and it was about to be erased from the storage library at Loyola University's new Communication Arts Department, that is until Kevin F. Montague went to the head engineer one day and asked a copy be made to video tape for his use in the future. Somehow this video survived the past 35 years through all that Mr. Montague went through during his turbulent life of change and growth.

This production has gone from ¾" video tape, to ½" video tape and then finally digital through all the years. At the time it was produced, the titles and credits had never been added, but thanks to Mr. Montague's extensive production notes and the help of current day computer magic, the credits have been finally added to make a final master of the finished production. This only goes to prove you are never too late to polish your act! This is light comedy at its best...if you grew up in that time period! So if you need a good chuckle, sit back and get ready for a good or at the very least a decent laugh, at a time period long since gone by!
