I used to watch Sam Cooke on t.v. and listen to his songs on the radio when I was growing up. I was shocked by his death ! He sure could have done better than letting a bar room slut get him killed. RIP Sam, you are missed!

Sam Cooke is simply the greatest vocalist and musician to walk the face of the earth. With that said, I haven't forgotten countless other legends, but his vocals were/are so pure that they still embody the essence of poetry, serenity, and beauty to this very day. May the soul of the GREATEST truly rest in peace.

is it just me, or is this man's voice REALLY THIS ENCHANTING where it truly "sends you" to another place??? it amazes me just how "hypnotic" his voice is (and he's been dead longer than i've been living..lol)!! can you guys FATHOM what he did to those "fortunate" ones who were able to see him in concert??? wow!!!! does anyone else feel me on this??? lol!!!!!
