The game just turns into rock paper scissors if you can't turtle. Good design choice though since gamers want instant gratification and the rock paper scissors gameplay offers that instant gratification to BOTH players at about a 50% success rate. If turtling was viable then the better player would win, not the player that made the most right guesses. Hey, but that's SF, hopefully a game where defense actually means something comes along at some point.

Apparently, GameStop was supposed to provide sticks to all the stores that were holding the Round 3 tournament, but not all the stores got them so they didn't allow any sticks to be used.
I did hear that some Round 3 stores did get to use sticks though, but not this one.
