This video was taken at Taunggyi Hot Air Balloon Festival in Myanmar (Burma). It is a compilation of a few hot air balloon launches as I took a few short videos describing parts of the process and put them together as if it was one balloon. One of the balloons had not enough hot air and landed back to a crowded field shortly after it was launched. It was too late to do anything as a fuse already burnt and soon all of the attached pyrotechnics exploded. I was right there very close to the balloon. It was a chaos - people tried to run away and fireworks whooshed in all directions like tracers. I just laid on the ground covered a head with my arms and waited when it is all over. I am not sure if someone was hurt as the police cordoned the site, but I know that in previous years there were several deaths. The last part of this video was shot by my friend Roberto on his camera, as he was watching it from the distance.
