BEASON vs THOMPSON.MOV

This match is early 90s Billy Beason(Former SKA member) vs Kevin Thompson ( the KA System )aka Lil K.A. Millerlite Team vs Atlantic Team in NYC at Tom Festas Tournament Beason and Thompson fierce rivals in the NY NJ area since the mid 70s. One of their last matches before Beason retired from competition in 93. The two fought between 35 and 40 times over the years and there was never a finite answer as to who won more matches. they each argue the number...probably close to an even split. there was a period in the early 80s however because of injury that Thompson was not active in competion at all but when he came back he dominated ever since until now @ age 50...since the two were both lightweights they never fought each other for Grand Championship awards...only in elimination matches these were the two toughest lightweights to beat in the NYC NJ CT area in the era of the 80s and 90s...and this video is after the years of bare knuckle old school tournaments when they were in my opinion tougher...if you have any video of either of these men please post and tag their names
