@djbenzz I used to spin this vynil and the b-side Workstation in my techno sets at parties. I had to bring down the pitch below 0 on the technics . So to me it qualifies as techno .... and French as well since Max Valder is French

yes but its not french tek because it just comes from france ...
French Tek is a style of music named because the first releases that sounded like it came out north france, it does not mean that for example a dutch guy cannot make french techno and that every techno from french artists are french techno, comprend?

You're absolutly right. Genre names are crap and their only function is to know what you're talking about. As communication medium. But if someone ask me "is this frech techno", i rather give him some "correct" information. The term French techno is well known in Belgium. But indeed, it's childish to discuss about genres and even think in ways of genres. But genre- names can be very handy if you search at something specific or talk about some specific music.
